About the Event

If you have heard the quote “Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” — The Bhagavad Gita; this touches on the very essence of what a quality teacher training is all about. Anybody can learn the alinement queues for downward facing dog with the right guidance and perseverance, if this is your main goal there are many cheaper alternatives online that will help you to achieve this, however this doesn't touch the surface of what a yoga teacher training is all about.

The journey of a teacher training is one of many layers and great depth, offering significant personal growth and transformation.

Our YTT is perfect for aspiring teachers, and those that wish to deepen their practice by living yoga on a daily basis to the fullest, where everything is seen as yoga “uniting with your true self.”

Be prepared to embrace a deep change, teaching and practicing yoga with utmost love, compassion, skill and wisdom.  A deep inner-transformation will take place that will connect you to your true authentic self, which is endowed with infinite knowledge and grace.

We believe in sharing yoga on the mat and mostly off the mat, and not just simple techniques like asana or pranayama, but how to live yoga throughout the day.

We invite you to take this precious moment out of your life to discover who you truly are, and transform yourself and your life in ways that are unimaginable.

If you feel you want to deepen your yoga experience with the potential of becoming a teacher and you are determined to gain a lot of knowledge, you will be fully supported on your path!

Let's hear what our current trainees have to say.....

"Where to begin… I had been practicing at the Mill and Trybe for some time and it was on seeing a poster in one of the studios that I let myself dream that one day I could be a teacher myself. Donatella and Madeline were so supportive, encouraging and just wonderful! and this has been the theme of every YTTC weekend. They put their heart and soul and then some more into every single minute of the course. I write this filled with emotions of gratitude and happiness of having shared this time with them and with the other YTTC students. The course is ran excellently, the guest teachers are beyond fantastic and the journey has been an amazing life experience. As much as I have learnt about the multifaceted layers of yoga, I have learnt so much about myself and here I am ready for my next steps and so excited as to where this will take me. If you are even considering it - do it!!!"

Victoria Hozaifeh

"YTTC at Trybe was the best decision I ever made. Not everyone has the circumstances to be able travel to India for a month to become a yoga teacher and I was worried that I wouldn’t get the authenticity if I studied in Preston. How wrong I was! YTTC at Trybe offered me the perfect balance. The sacred ancestry of yoga is honoured and revered, along with the practical knowledge and experience needed to teach yoga in our westernised world.

The course has helped me to reconnect with who I am and built my confidence for who I want to become. I honestly wish I could do the course all over again, simply for the sheer enjoyment of it. The teachers are wonderful, they were constantly supporting us, and sharing their passion for yoga, which was truly an inspiration. Without a doubt, there is nowhere else I would have rather trained than at Trybe".

"Following various injuries & health issues I found Tribe and made the decision to join the 200hr course. I have found that not only has the training given me a guided path to personal growth it has also allowed me to take my practice to the next level with teachings from very experienced teachers & I now want to share this ‘golden thread’ with others.

The course has led to me becoming part of a new community, meeting new people, developed my skills to benefit mind, body and spirit for the future.

Yes it has been challenging & emotional but has improved my quality of life & I look forward to continuing to learn this ancient practice."

Sarah Ridehalgh

"For anyone mulling over whether it’s the right time to start YTT, I’d say just do it! The training is delivered by some of the UK’s top teachers and is delivered concisely and in manageable segments. The quality is second to none, but one of the things I’ll cherish the most is bond I’ve formed with such special group of people. I’m not sure when we went from trainee teachers to TEACHER teachers but it happened almost without me noticing! I’m so excited to start to step into this new stage of my life."

Come along to meet, greet and practice with both myself and Donatella Heyworth (lead Asana teacher) on our Yoga Teacher Training open evening event on Tuesday 20th June at 6.30pm.

Taking that first step and committing to a Yoga Teacher Training can be a daunting experience and ultimately we want to ensure that our teacher training is going to be the right one for you.

At our Open Evening event, we will share with you the outline of our syllabus and give you plenty of opportunity to ask questions and received as much guidance as you need to help you reach that decision.

On top of this, you will be given the opportunity to practice with our lead teacher Donatella Heyworth, Madeline Diaz Meiners and one of our newly qualified teachers from our current course.

We are limited to 15 spaces for this event so we urge you only to book if you have a strong interest in joining our upcoming course in September 2023. To reserve your space please head to the BOOK A CLASS page on our website.
